Klauke ESSG853 Battery operated electric hydraulic safety cutting unit to determine whether a cable is live by cutting it.

The unit is equipped with a special brake which stops the forward motion of the piston/blade when the trigger is released.
The unit is equipped with a double piston pump which is characterised by a rapid approach of the blades towards the connector and a slow cutting motion.
The ESSG is equipped with a microprocessor which indicated service intervals, internal checks and low battery charges.
The unit has a perfect handling through its compact design and light weight.
Within the scope of delivery there is a certified earth equipment consisting of an earth cable, a charging unit with spare battery and a robust plastic carrying case.
